This annual event hosts the UK’s most influential trade buyers and press at the US Embassy in London. It shines a spotlight on the impressive quality and style of California wines available in the UK at over £50 RRP and positions the Golden State’s most celebrated wines as sought-after fixtures for the finest wine collections.

The event is held around the time of the annual wine harvest in California and is in part a celebration of the annual vintage. UK importers are invited to show off a selection of their best wines, often including some rare older vintages.

The tasting is followed by the ‘Collectible California Gala’ - a black-tie dinner and tasting for 200 select trade, press and private collectors. The Embassy transforms itself for the most celebrated night in California Wine’s calendar, combining a Michelin starred Californian chef and a mouthwatering array of wines for a spectacular celebration of California.
